So, I’m a try before I buy kind of person. I like to smell the soap. I like to spritz the perfume. I am for sure the person who reads the first “free” pages of a book before I buy it on Amazon. And now I am about to franchise my baby, which means people want and need to look under the hood before providing a bunch of personal financial information. I get it. Here’s the thing. There is a protocol for rolling out this type of information. There is vetting. There is the SEC. And then there is my attorney. All things we want to stay within the guidelines on… yes? Yes.
If you are interested in a Float Baby franchise, I have provided below the first “free” pages of our Franchise Manual for you to view. This should give you an idea of our company tone, ideals and outline of what you can expect from our training program. Our company is very transparent and if I can tell you something, I will. If I can’t because it will get everyone in legal trouble, then I won’t.
I will be looking for the perfect Float Baby Franchise candidates, and have talked with some very strong applicants in exciting markets already (Texas, Florida, California & New York to name a few:). I am looking for people who love babies, have a strong work ethic and winning attitude, want to part of a team, and have an excellent attention to detail and safety.
So how much will it cost, right? That is contained in the Franchise Disclosure Document and will be provided to all applicants who fill out an application and are previously vetted. But you still want to know, right? I understand! So let me put it to you this way…
If I were a Float Baby Franchisee, I would need to plan to invest a range between $75K and $150K, which includes my Franchise Fee. I would also expect, if if were me, in my Houston location using my recipe for success, that I should recoup my initial investment and be looking at profitability within the first 2 years. Of course there are zero guarantees or promises with any franchise.

FLOAT BABY FRANCHISE MANUAL
This manual is confidential and is only for the use of the franchisee and their authorized employees. Unauthorized use of the information contained herein is strictly prohibited. No part of the contents of this Float Baby Franchise Manual (“Manual”) may be copied or reproduced without the written permission of Float Infant Spa, LLC., DBA, Float Baby and/or Float Baby Franchise Group, LLC.
This Manual contains information and guidelines intended to help you successfully open and operate your franchised Float Baby facility in compliance with the system, the brand and your Area Development Agreement. Your Area Development Agreement is the complete statement of your rights and obligations in the operation of your store. In the event of a conflict between the Manual and your Area Development Agreement, your Area Development Agreement takes precedence. Each time you deviate from our proven systems, processes and operations including but not limited to product lines and services, please know, you are putting your individual location at risk. It is very important to discuss any changes you are considering with your franchisor first.
While we have worked diligently on this Manual, a few things may have escaped our attention. We apologize! If you have questions that are not answered here, or feel that something important has been overlooked, please talk to Float Baby Operations about it. We will treat this as a fluid document, and make changes, updates and policy additions when necessary. Of course, we will notify you of these updates and email them to you to bring and add to your binder. You will be held responsible for reading the updates, educating your staff of necessary changes, and adhering to strict compliance
The Float Baby Home Office is available for support to all franchisees. We will have regular check- ins with you to answer questions, troubleshoot and inspire along the way. The cost of this training, for you and one key team member, is covered in your Initial Franchise Fee. If you require additional training, there may be an additional fee. Please refer to your Franchise Agreement for education fees. In addition, you will be responsible for travel, food and lodging during your training.

DAY TO DAY CLASS OPERATIONS TRAINING
After your training, you will go home and recruit, hire and prepare to train your own team. The day to day class operations is a detailed session over several days that will give you not only the specific details you need to successfully train your staff to run your own Float Baby classes, but also provides a hands on practicum in our Houston Float Baby location with actual clients. This portion of your training is crucial to the success of your business and we will go through each topic until you feel that you have mastered each task.
